There are many meditation teachers to choose from. Every one of them will have a different approach or a twist to a practice that is influenced by our own unique life experiences.
I am not an exception.
The beginning of your meditation journey might look like a bit of searching, trying different tools and techniques out until you find one that you feel comfortable with.
Ultimately, you want to learn to become your own guru, the master of your inner world.
To bridge that gap from the noise of the external world to the stillness within takes courage and resilience but that is why we meet people on our paths who can help us cross the bridge and become comfortable sitting with our shadows or aspects of ourselves we would rather keep numbed or hidden.
My own meditation journey evolved from Kundalini meditation practices, meditation through yogic understanding and philosophy, the Buddhist tradition, and yoga nidra - finding relaxation in my body and learning to accept life and human experience through Christianity and biblical teachings.
Even though I wouldn’t call myself religious, I accept all religious and spiritual paths as they helped me to understand my journey of life and gather the wisdom to help you build solid meditation foundations that would help you integrate into life whatever that is that you are searching for or seeking.
Meditation is just a gentle pause within your day that helps you reflect upon your life and navigate relationships, work, and life challenges more graciously.
It helps you become comfortable with yourself and the people around you.
